Gemini adds a small business hub with saved brand styles

Google is adding a business page to the Gemini app that remembers your brand and connects to the tools you already use.

On October 20, Google announced a business landing page inside the Gemini app. It is a single place to build your brand, look at your finances and review customer insights. Google says it is rolling out globally “in the coming days” to all Gemini app users, and it names no required plan or price.

What’s new:

  • Brand styles: upload a website, brand kit, fonts or colors once. Gemini then applies that look to images made with its Nano Banana 2.1 model.
  • Finance graphics: Gemini can turn spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into charts and interactive models.
  • Connected apps: Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace, plus Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero.

The catch: availability varies. Per one analysis of Google’s help pages, several connections are limited by country or language, and some can change data, such as editing Business Profile hours or creating Shopify listings. Google chose the owner examples it shows, so treat them as best cases.

What it means for small businesses

  • A saved brand style could cut the time spent fixing off-brand social images.
  • Chart-making from receipts could help with a quick monthly review, though it is not bookkeeping.
  • Connected apps that can edit your listings need a permissions check first.

What to do now

  • Open the Gemini app in a few days and look for the business page.
  • Before connecting any app, read what access it asks for.
  • Check any chart against your real books before acting on it.
