Hark Pro builds a dashboard around your life
Hark Pro moves from notifications to prepared actions, which is useful and a bigger permission risk.
Hark Pro is a newly launched personal agent that combines persistent memory, a cloud browser, customizable mini apps called Panels, and Action Buttons that propose a next step. Instead of checking email, calendars, social metrics, news and reminders in separate apps, you ask Hark to build one dashboard around what you care about.
The interesting shift is from notifications to prepared actions. In the demo, Hark used past email context to prepare birthday gift cards, surfaced a failing GitHub action, tracked fantasy-football injuries, built a stock panel from a prompt and offered to clean promotional email. Consequential actions still came back for confirmation.
For a business owner, a personal operations dashboard could:
- Show today’s appointments and open calendar capacity
- Surface urgent customer messages and failed automations
- Track a few business metrics
- Prepare replies, rescheduling options or follow-ups
- Require approval before sending, buying, deleting or changing anything
The catch: an agent connected to email, calendars, accounts and payments has a much larger permission surface than a chatbot. Start read-only, review what it remembers and keep approval on. Hark works through its own cloud browser, you cannot take over its session, and its coding and project controls are limited. Free use has limits; security and performance statements are company claims, and the source video was made through a partnership.
