Claude can now build and edit your ad campaigns via Supermetrics
Marketers can ask Claude to draft and change campaigns on major ad platforms, with new ones paused until a person approves them.
On November 3, Supermetrics said its Claude connector can now create and edit ad campaigns, not only report on how they performed. A marketer can describe what they want in chat, and Claude builds or changes the campaign using the connected account data.
Supermetrics’ docs say all campaigns are created paused, so nothing runs until a person reviews and turns it on. In the Supermetrics Hub you pick which accounts Claude can change and choose an approval level, from none to approval on every live change. Only the person who connected an ad account can switch write access on.
A new Context Layer lets teams store rules in plain language, such as naming conventions, targets and which client maps to which account. Supermetrics says more than 6,000 customers have used the Claude connector since February.
The catch: Platform lists differ. The release names Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, LinkedIn and Snapchat. The docs also list Facebook Ads, ChatGPT Ads and Snapchat with limits, and Snapchat edits are limited to names and status. The docs call the feature early access, free with an existing Supermetrics plan. Check the docs for your platform before you rely on it.
What to do now
- Start with one low-stakes ad account and a strict approval level.
- Read every paused campaign before you enable it.
- Write your naming rules into the Context Layer so drafts match your setup.
